The Saleh Foundation/Eastside Muslim Community is proud to partner with FamilyWorks to serve our community. FamilyWorks has been operating for over 20 years in North Seattle, with two food banks and a family resource center, providing individuals and families with access to fresh groceries, diapers & clothing, and connection to vital resources.
Recently, there has been an increase in the amount of Muslim visitors needing groceries and “halal” meat. FamilyWorks wasted no time in partnering with Carnivore House to provide halal meat (for free).
Let us continue to help each other as the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “The best of you are those who feed others.” Please dig deep into your pockets and donate generously, this Ramadan.
