We understand the importance of the donor experience and want yours to be as positive as possible.  In addition to committing to acknowledge your gifts in a timely manner we also pledge the following:

To inform you of our mission, of the way we intend to use donated resources and of our capacity to use donations effectively for their intended purposes.

To inform you of the identity of those serving on our governing board, and to ensure you the board will exercise prudent judgment in its stewardship responsibilities.

To make our most recent financial statements available to you.

To assure you that your gifts will be used for the purposes for which they were given.

To appropriately recognize and acknowledge your donations.

To assure you that information about your donations is handled with respect and with confidentiality to the extent provided by law.

That you will be treated with respect and dignity in any and all interactions with FamilyWorks staff.

To inform you whenever those seeking donations are volunteers or employees of FamilyWorks. Additionally, FamilyWorks will not hire outside solicitors.

To assure you that we will never share or sell your personal information with any other entity, including non-profit organizations. This applies to donor information shared both online and through traditional offline means.

To answer any questions you might have when making a donation with prompt, truthful, and forthright answers.
