I opened my first ice cream shop with the help of my little sister, Anna, in 2008 right across the street from Family Works in the lovely Wallingford neighborhood. As soon as we got to know the neighborhood, Anna and I quickly learned that FamilyWorks was an amazing place, strengthening and nourishing our community.
Anna was generous, compassionate, and LOVED MILK. In 2009, she tragically passed away from a devastating motorcycle accident. As you can imagine, I have wanted to honor her in a fitting way. So I created this fund to remember Anna by supporting families in need with fresh milk every week. Food banks can rarely afford dairy products, and milk was almost never available at Family Works before I started the fund.
Here is where you can help: Your donation of just $10 per month will provide ALL the milk a family will need for pick-up each week.
Please join me in supporting the Anna Banana Milk fund with a monthly donation that will honor my sister’s memory and support families who need our help.
