2015 School Supply Drive

Summer break is just around the corner, but FamilyWorks is already planning for the next school year.

Help us make a child’s first day of school special!  Over the course of the summer, we will collect school supplies to give out to low income families who have children in Seattle Public Schools.

When students begin the school year feeling prepared and supported, they are more likely to be successful and motivated about their education. Please help us provide families and their children with the supplies they need to thrive as part of our community.

You can help us in four different ways:

  1. You can donate extra school supplies you may have laying around.
  2. You can purchase school supplies then bring them to our office at 1501 N 45th st. (if it’s easier you can also purchase the items on our wishlist at Amazon Smile).
  3. You can hold a supply drive at your organization. If you’re planning on hosting a supply drive give us a call, we can provide you with signage! In fact, here’s a flyer.
  4. Or if you’d prefer make a cash donation which can be used to purchase school supplies GO HERE, but make sure to designate your gift for the “School Supply Drive.”
