Seeking a Community Connector to connect food bank participants to services that will help stabilize their families.
They will perform a needs assessment, and refer, apply, and enroll individuals in various benefits, programs and resources. This will be a shared position with FamilyWorks (Tuesday through Friday) and North Helpline (Saturday). There are 7 Community Connectors at Seattle food banks who will meet monthly to collaborate about the work. The Connector will learn and enhance skills that promote anti-racism and cultural competency. Looking for an enthusiastic professional who is organized and capable of building strong and positive relationships within the agency and in the community.
